Welcome to the Worship Team Blogworship team badge

From Liberty, leader of the Worship Team and Elenya the Deputy!

We are in Year Six and are part of the Christopher Rawlins Primary School Worship Team. As worship team, we hope to involve children more in our worship and make sure that all the children understand our school values.  We also like being able to share our views and ideas with Mrs Peverill.

Last term, we created badges with Mrs Peverill, for our worship team.  We used our school rainbow, the school logo with ‘Love one another as I have loved you’ and our school values – Compassion, Peace and Service.

This term, we will be opening our worship time by lighting our candles and saying welcome and closing speeches. You might think it is scary speaking in front of the whole school but it is not!  We enjoy helping to lead our worship in school.

Worship Team Blog – 29th January 2016

This week in our worship team meeting, we organised the prayers that each class is going to display.

The first prayer reads ‘For what we are about to receive may the Lord make us truly grateful Amen ’. The second prayer is about the Trinity, which is our focus this term, that reads ‘Love of Jesus fill us, Holy Spirit guide us and will of the Father be done’.

We are also going to be showing round some RE governors from Shenington Primary School on Thursday afternoon.  We hope they are impressed by what they see in our school.
