SIAMS Report

Christopher Rawlins, along with all Church Schools, take part in an inspection additional to the Ofsted inspection. This inspection is known as the SIAMS inspection and will focus on aspects of the school which make it distinctive as a Church School. The SIAMS inspection happens within a 5 year period. Our most recent inspection happened in March 2016 (a link to this report can be found at the bottom of the page).

The overall purpose of the SIAMS inspection (also known as Section 48) is to answer the question: ‘How distinctive and effective is the school as a Church School?‘ The inspection and ensuing report comment on and grade four key questions:

How does the school, through its distinctive Christian character, meets the needs of all learners?

What is the impact of collective worship on the school community?

How effective is Religious Education within the school?

How effective are the leadership and management of the school, as a Church School?

At Christopher Rawlins we are proud of our distinctive Christian character and our link with our church community. Please read our most recent inspection report. If you would like to know more about our Church School distinctiveness, please feel free to contact the school.
