Headteacher – Welcome
Welcome to our school website.
We hope that it gives you an insight into the wide range of opportunities that are available to the children here at Christopher Rawlins Church of England Primary School.
Christian values underpin the life of our school. Through Jesus’ teachings of Compassion, Peace and Service we work with children at our core. Their needs are at the forefront of all our plans and at the heart of our school’s ethos.
We believe that children achieve their full potential when they are content and happy at school. We therefore offer our children a wide range of activities both in and out of school in order to prepare them for lifelong learning. We believe that all children are entitled to a broad and balanced curriculum in an environment that gives them the confidence to succeed and stimulates their interest and enjoyment in learning.
The school community is committed to giving your child the best possible start to their school life; the care, guidance and support offered is exceptional, with every child’s individual needs being met. We strive to develop a strong working relationship with you, as parents, helping to support your child’s development and learning; communication is paramount in that endeavour.
As a Church of England school we are committed to our strong Christian ethos and are proud of the close links that we have with St Mary’s Church, Adderbury and our local community.
By the end of your child’s time at Christopher Rawlins School we hope to have helped them understand how to live out Jesus’ message to, ‘Love one another as I have loved you’; to have gained the highest academic achievements possible, to be respectful of others and have enjoyed a wealth of learning opportunities that will stay with them for the rest of their school loves and beyond.
I hope that you find our website informative and, should you have queries or would like to visit the school, please feel free to contact the school office to make an appointment; I would be delighted to show you around and answer any questions you may have.
